WASA evolves emergency plan to ensure smooth supply of water to citizens

RAWALPINDI- Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) Rawalpindi has evolved emergency plan to supply water to the citizens of Rawalpindi city during summer season.
WASA Rawalpindi Managing Director (MD) Raja Shaukat Mehmood said, Rawalpindi city has been divided into four sectors in connection with supply of water. The holidays of WASA officers and staff have been cancelled. It will be binding on every zone complaint center, to address the complaints of the citizens immediately to ensure supply of water to them. Surprise raids will be conducted on the complaint centers of WASA. An effective check and balance system has been put in place to monitor the performance of offices and staff of WASA. 9 complaint cells have been set up in different areas of Rawalpindi city including Moti Mahal, Liaqat Bagh, Commercial Market, Sufaid Tanki, Khiaban-e-Sirsyed , Divisional Public School, Hashmat Ali College, Gulzar-e- Qaid and Satellite town.
