SADIQABAD - The PTI Women Wing Rahim Yar Khan president has termed her party chief Imran Khan the only ray of hope in the national crises while saying that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf tsunami will be heading towards Quetta on March 23 after sweeping Karachi on December 25.
“We welcome the political bigwigs’ congratulating Imran Khan on the successful Tehreek-i-Insaf’s public gathering in Karachi,” Ms Nighat Mehmood Gujjar said while talking to media persons when she returned to the district from the economic hub of the country. “When Imran Khan started his political struggle, he was alone. The more he kept expediting his struggle, the more companions continued to get on the PTI bandwagon. Finally, a huge number of people thronged Minar-e-Pakistan and the gathering was named as tsunami by the party chief. Then the tsunami reached Karachi despite deteriorating condition.”
At the Quaid-i-Azam’s mausoleum, the female PTI leader added, the people openly expressed their disgust towards the traditional politics and termed the cricketer-turned-politician their saviour. She added that the unstoppable wave of the people towards Quetta would prove to be a milestone for her party. “The federal and provincial governments have disappointed the people. Now Imran has gained people’s support and become the centre of their attention in the field of politics too after making the great strides in cricket,” she said. “If PTI comes to power, Imran Khan will fulfil all the promises made to the people and they would be provided justice by eliminating unemployment, corruption and lawlessness from the country.”
She added that Pakistan would be made an Islamic welfare state in line with the vision of Allama Muhammad Iqbal and Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. She said that the time had come to bring the corrupt persons to book, urging the people to get united and elect the PTI candidates in the forthcoming general elections so that the country might be put on the path of progress and prosperity.
