LARKANA : Pakistan People’s Party MNA Ayaz Soomro has denied reports about his resignation from NA-204 to pave way for party chairman Bilawal Zardari’s parliamentary debut through by-elections. “There is no truth in speculations that I have resigned. However, I can do so if the PPP leadership ordered,” Soomro told a private news channel in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh where a large number of the PPP workers and leaders gathered to mark 6th death anniversary of Benazir Bhutto.
There were reports on Thursday that, Soomro who was elected MNA from NA-204 Larkana, has quitted the seat on the directives of his party leadership, giving Bilawal a chance to contest by-elections on the seat.
