KASUR - A man was shot dead and his wife severely injured by unidentified robbers on Monday. Two unidentified bandits intercepted Wazir Ali, who was riding motorcycle along with his wife near village Kaniwala. The robbers snatched Rs12,000 cash and two cellphones. On resistance, one of the robbers fired at the couple, leaving Ali dead on the spot and injuring his wife. She was rushed to DHQ Hospital and was stated to be critical. Police started probe into the matter.
