Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf Monday said that the federal government has prioritized the ongoing development projects initiated in Balochistan to speed up pace of socio-economic development and improve standard of living of people of the province. The Prime Minister stated this while talking to Federal Minister for Privatization, Jam Muhammad Yousaf, who called on him at the PM House. The Prime Minister discussed with him about the progress of the ongoing development projects in Balochistan. The Prime Minister directed him to focus on the projects which are near completion so that their benefits started reaching the people. He also urged him to personally monitor the development activities in his area in order to ensure their timely completion. Jam Muhammad Yousaf praised the Prime Minister for his personal attention on Balochistan and expressed the view that the measures taken by the federal government would go a long way in laying a foundation for sustainable development in Balochistan.
