PESHAWAR - In order to avert any untoward incident on Eidul Fitr, police launched a crackdown and arrested at least 40 suspects in district Charsadda on Sunday.
According to details, police launched a search operation in tehsil Shabqadar against suspects and anti-social elements and apprehended around 40 suspects. Some of the arrested persons were already wanted to police in different cases.
Police also recovered four Kalashnikovs, nine pistols and other weapons during the operation. The arrested suspects were shifted to police station for interrogation.
