Invoking article 245 in capital surprises Siraj

PESHAWAR -  Jamaat-e-Islami chief Sirajul Haq Sunday said that he was surprised by the federal government’s decision to invoke article 245 in the federal capital due to security concerns.
If it is invoked for poor law and order then the situation is same in the whole country, he said while addressing a public gathering in Lower Dir district.
The democratic institutions should continue working and the present government must complete its tenure. He, however, said that completion of five years tenure is nothing but actually the government should bring prosperity, change people fortune and strengthen democracy.
He said that the government has so far failed in fulfilling the promises made with general public a year back. There unemployment has increased, while price hike and poor law and order are the main issues the people. Haq said that resources of the country have been usurped by landlords and wealthy clique. Today even in this modern era, children of poor families were unable to acquire education, which is regrettable.
Soon after Eidul Azha, he announced to visit each and every city of the country to educate people of all walks of life about their due rights. He said that JI is working for a revolutionary change in the society to put the country on right track of development.
