'Media keeping Nawaz-Zardari politics alive

MULTAN - Chief of Awami Muslim League Sheikh Rashid Ahmad has said that noora kushti is underway between Zardari and Nawaz Sharif and it will continue till a certain time. Talking to Nawa-e-Waqt/ The Nation, he said that the masses were disappointed from the both big parties and therefore they were looking towards a third power. He said that the masses would forget Nawaz Sharif and Zardari, if media refrained from telecasting their speeches repeatedly. The politics of both the parties is kept alive by the media, he added. Commenting on PTI public meeting in Multan, he said that it could not dismantle the government, though it could jolt it. He said that the government was not willing to hold local government polls and therefore no elections would be held. He said that the country lacked honest leadership while the nation badly needed eligible leaders at this critical time. He said that the drone attacks were underway with the consent of rulers and they would continue in future.
