At least one person was killed and four others injured when a remote-controlled bomb hit vehicle of a member of peace committee on Tuesday morning.
The incident took place in Yakh Tangi area when peace committee member Sher Ali alias Jajaniyan’s vehicle was targeted with a remote-controlled bomb.
As result, his son Barkat Ali was killed and four people including his brother Anwar Ali and two women were injured in the incident.
According to sources, the victims were heading towards Mingora to condole DSP Khan Bahadur’s death, who was killed along with five other policemen in recent bomb blast in Shangla.
The injured have been shifted to Saidu Sharif Teacher Hospital where there condition is said to be stable.
