LAHORE- Persistent dry weather in the plains of Punjab has increased the temperature to 42C in the city, ending the respite brought by rain showers earlier this month.
According to local Met office, maximum temperature in Lahore today was recorded at 42 degrees Celsius, whereas minimum was 26.5 degrees Celsius. Met office said similar weather conditions prevailed all over the province. Meanwhile, there is no chance of rain at least during the next couple of days. The weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the province in last 24 hours.
