QUETTA - Four people, including three women, were shot dead in different incidents of violence in Balochistan on Friday.
An accused, identified as Allah Bakhsh Lashari, killed his spouse and a man named Jan Muhammad Lashkari for having illicit relation at Goth Qazi Muhammad Ismail in Usta Muhammad tehsil of Jaffarabad. Following the incident, the accused managed to flee from the scene. The bodies were handed over to their families after autopsy. A case has been registered in this connection and further investigation is underway. Separately, a man namely Muhammad Ashraf allegedly killed his wife in Usta Muhammad tehsil. Reason of the murder is yet to be ascertained. The accused, however, managed to flee from the scene after committing the crime. Local administration registered a case and started investigation into the incident.
Meanwhile, some armed men shot dead a woman who was under medical treatment in Civil Hospital Quetta. Sources said that an injured woman identified as Ayesha Bibi was under treatment at the Surgical Ward–II when some armed men entered the hospital and shot her dead. However, motive behind the incident is yet to be ascertained. The assailants fled the hospital after committing the crime.
A case has been registered and further investigation is underway.
