ATTOCK - State Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Sheikh Aftab Ahmed, has said that the government is giving priority to education sector at public and private level.
He said this after inaugurating Knowledge Kingdom School here at Teen Meela Chowk on Monday. MD Baitul Maal Abid Sheikh, Senior Vice President PML-N Saleem Shehzad and other notables of the area were present on the occasion.
The minister said that the government was spending billions of rupees on education sector to ensure provision of missing facilities in all the schools while new teachers were being inducted on merit to ensure quality education to the young lot. He said that the government was also according priority to provide quality education to the poorest of the poor children and its ample proof was Punjab Danish Schools established in different districts.
He said that a Danish School had been established at Jand at the cost of Rs 1 billion where more than 200 poor students were getting education free of cost. He said without education no nation could make progress.
