Three die, 30 hurt in Jacobabad railway track explosion

At least three people were killed and 30 others injured after a blast hit two compartments of Khushal Khan Khattak Express near Dil Murad Station in Jacobabad, officials said on Wednesday. According to Sindh police, seven compartments of the train were derailed after the blast, leaving three dead and thirty injured in wee hours of Wednesday. The deceased and injured were passengers of the train. According to Pakistan Railway (PR), the train was travelling to Peshawar via Karachi adding that a relief train was sent from Sukkur to carry the passengers. The deceased and injured were shifted to a local hospital in Jacobabad. Police and law enforcement agencies have cordoned-off the area to find out the culprits involved in the terror act. It is to be mentioned here that earlier several blasts were reported on the tracks passing through Sindh. Nationalist parties of Sindh claimed responsibility of the attacks demanding to create Sindh as a separate country.
