ISLAMABAD (APP) - President Asif Ali Zardari on Monday taking a strong notice of the incident of gang rape of a girl and murder of her brother has sought an immediate enquiry report from the provincial government of Sindh. The President directed the provincial government to take swift measures to arrest those who committed the heinous crime and to bring them to justice. He also directed payment of compensation to the family and assured that the government would ensure that those who committed the act do not go unpunished. He asked that an enquiry be conducted and report detailing the measures taken to arrest those who committed the rape and the murder of Sabir Soomro submitted to him. The President said that government would ensure protection of honour and dignity of women and no one would be allowed to violate the law.
