Islamabad/Peshawar- A total of 203 million rupees have been disbursed among 8,500 internally displaced persons of North Waziristan.
FATA Disaster Management Authority told Radio Pakistan that each registered displaced family is being given a cash assistance of 20,000 rupees.
In addition, 20,000 rupees are also being given to each family as Ramazan package, as directed by the prime minister.
The sources said four centers have been set up in Bannu where IDPs are being provided cooked food.
Meanwhile, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government has released 114.6 million rupees to provide healthcare to IDPs in Bannu and adjoining districts.
