PAKPATTAN - Punjab Auqaf Secretary Tariq Mehmood said that more security cameras will be installed within three months at Darbar Hazrat Baba Fareed Ganj Shakar. He was addressing a meeting regarding the arrangements of 769th Urs celebrations of Hazrat Baba Fareed Ganj Shakar (RA) here on Wednesday. He directed all the departments concerned to make arrangements for the betterment of zaireen (devotees) and coordination among all the departments should be foolproof. It was also decided that the Auqaf Department will pay Rs0.8 million for the Urs arrangements. The devotees from all over the country and foreign countries including Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq and India would participate into Urs celebrations On the occasion, the DPO informed about the security plan for the Urs. He said that foolproof security arrangements had been made by the local administration to avert any untoward incident during the Urs days at shrine. While the Health, TMA, District govt and other departments briefed about their duties during the Urs in the meeting. Commissioner Sahiwal Qazi Muhammad Ashfaq, RPO Sahiwal Khaliq Dad Lack, DCO Syed Haider Iqbal, DPO Jehanzaib Nazir Khan, Tehrik Faizan-e-Aulia Chief Dewan Azmat Chishti and others attended the meeting.
