I wish that the name of District Public School Noorpur Thal is included in list of top institution and Inshallah, I will try my best to make DPS as an exemplary institution, this commitment was made by principal DPS Um-e-Samia here, during her first exclusive interview with The Nation. She said that she adopted a policy to facilitate the faculty and also the students so that they could perform their professional duties with independence and the students could study in an easy and liberal atmosphere to bring positive change in society through knowledge and tolerance. That is why after taking the charge I had first of all cut 20 per cent charges despite the fact that we had been facing financial crises, she maintained. She said that she had adopted an open door policy for the teachers and the students. They can meet me any time for the solution of their problems. Madam Um-e-Samia said the DPS has its own history and traditions and becoming the principal of district public school Noorpur Thal campus was an honour for her. She will maintain all the traditions of DPS, she observed. She said that all her teachers have highly qualified and her duty was to lead them and she had been leading them with best of her capabilities. .We are busy for further upgradiation of the campus in future, she informed. Co-curricular activities play dominant role in the confidence building and personality development of the students, the principal said. According to their interest the students should contact the teachers in-charge of these activities for registration, she added. She said that all-out efforts should be made to ensure that the students were admitted keeping in view the availability of faculty members and lab facilities there.
