LAHORE-Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has assured the traders community that the provincial government will take all possible steps to resolve the water shortage problem and provision of clean drinking water to the citizens.
He was talking to various delegations of traders led by President Auto Parts Traders, Waqar Ahmed Mian which called on him here on Monday.
During the meeting important issues relating trade, industry, economy, social welfare and basic problems faced by masses and country came under discussion.
Waqar Ahmed also presented a donation cheque to the governor for public welfare on the behalf of traders of organizations.
Speaking on the occasion president autos parts traders said that businessmen are not only playing a role in economic and industrial development but also taking part in activities of public welfare.
He said that traders community have always donated generously during natural calamities and whenever masses needed help.
Governor Chaudhry Sarwar lauded the business community for donation for their needy brethren.
He said that all steps were being taken to improve the water supply situation and provision of clean drinking water to the citizens.
