DEPALPUR - A person on Thursday gunned down five members of his family over a land dispute in village Phullan Toli here.
Tariq Saeed Shah allegedly gunned down his grandfather Muzaffar Ali Shah, step grandmother Taj Bibi, his son Ghulam Abbass, 8, and Mehvish, 7 while Sana Batool who was seriously injured, died in Jinnah Hospital, Lahore.
The accused committed the crime as his grandfather transferred an agricultural land of 45 acres to his minor son Ghulam Abbass. He demand share of his late mother but his grandfather refused to accept his demand.
