Army Public School holds annual prize distribution ceremony
 
 
 


NOWSHERA - A graceful, attractive and colourful annual prize distribution of Army Public School and College (Iqbal) was held in the Abdullah Jan Auditorium of Army Service Corps Centre Nowshera Cantt.
A large number of students, their parents, army officers, ladies, teachers were present on the occasion.
Brig Muhammad Iftikhar Ahmad, Commandant Army Service Corps, Centre, was chief guest in this ceremony.
The programme was started with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Fazal-Ur- Rehman, student of 7th class. Then Rukhsana, student of 1st Year, paid homage in form of Naat to the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
After Naat, student of tender age dressed in colourful attire presented welcome song to greet respectable guests.
Students of Junior Section, putting on provincial dresses, i.e Pathans, Punjabi, Sindhi and Balochi attracted the attention of the audience and earned applause.
Then students presented tableau, which was highly appreciated by the audience. Students portrayed the picture of patriotic Pakistanis and displayed unity to defend the frontiers of Pakistan.
Then group of students presented Milli Song “ Ay Mere Des Meri Jan” which spelled bound the audience and they shared the feelings of the students being patriotic. Spectators appreciated the presentation of students with clapping.
Then Principal Lt Col (Retd) Ghulam Farid presented the annual report of session 2012-2013, highlighting the good performance of the students in Matric Exam in Federal Board , Islamabad.
At the end of the programme, Brig Muhammad Iftikhar Ahmed, distributed prizes among the students, who got position in final examination.
He congratulated the students on their best performance and advised them to continue their efforts to achieve their goals of life. He satisfied the parents that conducive environments would be ensured in school so that students will be able to excel in Board examination.
The programme ended on presenting national anthem.
