MARDAN - Brother, nephew and other relatives of ANP’s former MPA from Mardan announced joining the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) here Friday.
Speaking at a press conference, Ameer Farzand Khan, ex-nazim and member of District Council flanked by his brother ex-MPA Ghani Dad Khan, Sher Afsar Khan and his nephews Ghani Dad Khan and Jan Khan, said that the ANP leaders had turned from the party philosophy of serving the masses.
They alleged that in the last five years of their government they were busying minting money and ignored the party sincere workers and families of Khuda-e-Khidmatgars.
They said the Ameer Haider Khan Hoti and his father Mohammad Azam Khan Hoti were enjoying perks and luxurious lifestyle during the last five years while the party poor and sincere and ideological workers were forced to live miserable life.
They said that Azam Khan Hoti and former Chief Minister Ameer Haider Khan Hoti were limited to few people during their government and ignored the party workers of Mardan district and their door were closed for party workers and when their government came to its end and election came ahead they started meeting with the party workers.
On this occasion, they along with their supporters and family members and large numbers of ANP workers of PK-25 quit ANP and announced to join PML-N.
Large numbers of PML-N and ANP workers were present on this occasion.
They promised to provide all-out support to the PML-N its candidates and its president Mian Nawaz Sharif. Sher Afgan Khan candidate of NA-11 Mardan welcomed the new entrants into the party and asked them to work for the party’s cause.
