PPP-S names candidates for NA, PA seats in KPK


PESHAWAR -The Pakistan Peoples’ Party Shaheed Bhutto (PPP-S) KPK chapter on Friday announced names of party candidates for national and provincial assembly seats.
Addressing a news conference here at press club, PPP-Shaheed Bhutto Group Provincial President Mukhtar Khan advocate informed that party ticket had been given to Amir Syed for NA-1 Peshawar, Azizud Din NA-5 Nowshera, Kamal Shah NA-6 Nowshra, Jan Nisar NA-29 Charsadda, Fazal Gilani NA-18 Abbottabad, Muhammad Maskin Shah NA-21 Mansehra, and Karim Box will be party candidate for NA-29 Swat.
Similarly, names of party candidates for Provincial Assembly constituencies were Noor Shehzad PK-3, Mukhtiar Ahmad PK-20 Charssadda, Zar Bacha PK-37, Syed Khalid Shah 38, Sadiq PK-45, Sardar Zakir PK-46, Sardar Asad PK-47, Amiru Rahman PK-81, Ali Man Khan PK-82, Muhammad Zada PK-99 Malakand, and Farukh Nazir, Begum Noor Jehan Wazir for reserved seats and Balwant Kumar at minority seat.
Minister lauds Directorate of ST&IT performance
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Caretaker Minister for Science and Technology and Information Technology Engr. Ishaq Khattak has lauded various IT projects launched and initiated by the Directorate of Science and Technology and Information Technology. He hoped that the projects after completion would help a lot facilitating the work of government departments and other stakeholders.
This, he said during his visit to the Directorate of ST&IT on Friday where he was given presentation about the functions of the Directorate.
Secretary ST&IT Ahmad Hassan while giving the presentation informed the Caretaker ST&IT Minister Khattak on the already completed projects by the Directorate. 
The Director Information Technology Bilal Jabbar Khan and other officers of the Directorate were also present on the occasion.
Khattak said the young educated generation had great potential to get the country out of the existing crisis and to make it a developed country in its real sense. He urged the youth to work with immense interest keeping in view the idea of making their beloved country an advanced developed state.
CM lauds Fatimed
Foundation’s role
Caretaker Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Justice (Retd) Tariq Pervez Khan on Friday commended the role of Fatimed Foundation of providing free medical treatment and blood transfusion facility to poor patients of thalassaemia,
He was talking to a three members delegation of Fatimed Foundation headed by its chairmen Lt. General (Retd) Moinuddin Haider, who called on him at his office on Friday.
Khalid Sultan, Head of the Fatimed Foundation Peshawar chapter and Col (Retd) Afzal, Administrator Fatimed Foundation Peshawar were the other two members of the delegation.
Lt. Gen(Retd) Mooinuddin Haider congratulated the CM for taking charge of his new office and said that caretaker set-up was installed in the province right in time without any controversy. “The province sets a good political tradition,” he added.
