Rawalpindi- A van carrying bundles of the Daily Jang and The News was attacked near Committee Chowk today.
Eight to ten armed men attacked the van and set it on fire with petrol. The van was travelling from Rawalpindi to Islamabad. The driver of the van remained was not hurt in the attack. According to sources, over 7,000 copies of the newspapers were burnt. In a similar attack unidentified bike riders set a vehicle carrying bundles of the Daily Jang and The News on fire in Lahore on Sunday.
