Sheikh Rasheed rejects Javed Hashmi’s claims

ISLAMABAD- Rejecting Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) president Javed Hashmi’s claims, the AML chief Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed said that he was never involved in decision making of Imran Khan.

“On oath I say I didn't advise Imran Khan to shift sit-in to PM House but I was bound to follow his decision,” Sheikh Rasheed said while talking to a private news channel. He said that the PTI had its own internal issues and he was being dragged unduly.

“I meet Imran Khan just for four to five hours,” Sheikh Rasheed said, adding that he wasn’t even aware of the future happening.

Earlier, he said the use of state machinery against the protesters was despicable and if the situation did not improve then the Army will have to intervene. He said the prime minister gave a false statement on the floor of the National Assembly. He said the prime minister should quit after the ISPR clarification.
