PBTE warning to affiliated institutes

LAHORE - The Chairman Punjab Bard of Technical Education (PBTE) Dr Muhammad Shafique has issued warring notices to a number of affiliated institutes for not meeting the boards requirements in connection with provision of facilities to the students. He also warned that affiliation of those institutes would be cancelled which failed to provide practical laboratories and relevant faculties to their students. Dr Shafique issued warning notices during his surprise visits to the boards affiliated institutes in various districts of the province including Orient Institute of Technology Kharian, Comprehensive Institute Sargodha, Qureshi Technical Training Centre Mandi Bhaudin, Pakistan College of Technology Mandi Bhaudin, Orient Institute Mandi Bhaudin, APPEX College Faisalabad, Pak Poly Technic Faisalabad, Knowledge House Institute Gojra, Macca College of Technology Talagang and Haven Institute of Technology Bhalwal. Warring letter were issued to all concern colleges for not meeting the required standard of the board and having laboratories below required standard. During his visit the Punjab board of technical education chairman also held meeting with the teacher and student and listened to their problem and informed them about the reform taken by the board for improving technical education to fulfil the requirement of the modern era. He also held meeting with the owners of the affiliated institutes of private sector and emphasised better teaching and infrastructure.
