ISLAMABAD- Pakistan Bar Council (PBC) has filed appeal against objections raised by registrar Supreme Court (SC) praying that court should restore the PCO judges who have not reached retirement age besides ending contempt of court cases against them.

All the negative remarks earlier given against the former Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry have been expunged in the appeal plea. Registrar SC had raised objection that appeal once has been decided and PBC is not party to this case. The appeal plea can be fixed for hearing after Eid.
