Shahbaz Rizvi elected HCBAM president

MULTAN - Syed Shahbaz Ali Rizvi was elected president of High Court Bar Association Multan (HCBAM) for term 2013-14 as the voting to elect new representatives took place here on Saturday, say the unofficial results. He defeated former president Mahmood Ashraf Khan. The counting for other seats was underway till filing of this report.
Similarly, Muhammad Ehsan Alvi and Muhammad Amir Bhutta are face to face for general secretary seat. At least nine office bearers including Finance and Library Secretaries and seven members of executive council have already been elected unopposed. The polling started at 9:00am and ended at 5:00pm peacefully. As many as 6603 voters were likely to use their right to vote and the counting was underway till filing of this report.
