The secretary housing Thursday submitted a report containing the list of people who were allotted more than one plot in the National Police Foundation Housing Scheme in the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
The list was placed before a three-member bench of the Supreme Court headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhary and comprising Justice Ijaz Ahmad Chaudhary and Justice Gulzar Ahmed who were hearing National Police Foundation allotment case.
According to the list, former PM Shaukat Aziz got two plots, former IG Afzal Shigri five plots, DIG Sultan Taimori three plots, session judge Muhammad Afzal two plots, DIG Laiq Ahmad five plots, ex-additional director NPF Abdul Hanan seven plots, an assistant Muhammad Khan 10 plots, IG police Bani Amin two plots and ex-deputy director NPF Khuda Bux 12 plots.
During the hearing, Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhary asked that how they allotted two plots to former prime minister Shaukat Aziz while he was not entitled for the same.
Later, the court directed the secretary housing to submit the list of all the people who were allotted plots in the NPF.
The court also summoned former interior minister Khawaja Siddiqu Akbar, IG Islamabad Bani Amin and former MD NPF Zahid Mehmood to appear before the court on the next hearing to submit their reply and adjourned the proceedings till June 11.
