Small farmers' uplift must to boost agri sector: Gondal
September 2, 2008 LAHORE (APP) - Federal Minister for Food Agriculture and Livestock Nazar Muhammad Gondal has said that uplift of small farmers is must to boost agriculture sector on which economy of the country is heavily dependent.
He was addressing a meeting of Agri-Support Fund (ASF) here on Monday.
The minister said that the agriculture sector being backbone of national economy is among the top priority sectors of the government.
