Sincere efforts required to boost trade ties with Czech Republic

LAHORE- The promotion of bilateral trade between Pakistan and Czech Republic depends on sincere efforts as there is a great scope of trading, joint venture and transfer of technology between the both countries, said Czech Republic Ambassador Pavol Sepelak at FPCCI during meeting with the FPCCI members.
He said that Pakistan is rich in manpower, masses are intelligent and hardworking. They could turn the fate of Pakistan into prosperity by adopting ultramodern technology in their industrial sector. He said that Czech Republic have a cordial business relations with Pakistan as bilateral trade is increasing day by day between both the countries.
Czech Ambassador also proposed that Pakistan should take advantage by importing energy project from Czech Republic to overcome energy shortage as Czech Republic is highly advanced country in Eastern Europe in health, education, energy and defence production.
Earlier, Hameed Akhtar Chadda Vice President FPCCI presided over the meeting and presented address of welcome and suggested that for enhancing investment and trade between the two countries, exchange of trade delegation arrangements of exhibitions in each other country and transfer of business information at Chamber level is highly essential to achieve our economic goals.
Former President FPCCI Iftikhar Ali Malik emphasised for transfer of technology in different industrial sectors from Czech Republic. He said that arrangements should be made through joint venture for the establishment of different machinery manufacturing units including medical machinery and instrument manufacturing units as well. Prominent businessmen including Khawaja Khawar Rashid, Muhammad Nadeem Bhatti, Rehmatullah Javed, Tahir Malik, Raja Hamid Riaz and Anwaar A. Sheikh were also present on this occasion.
Meanwhile, FPCCI crest was presented to the Pavol Sepelak Czech Ambassador by Hameed Akhtar Chadda.
