Petrol demand rise, 40,000 M.T import tender issued
Tender for the import of 40 thousand metric tons of petrol has been floated in the wake of sudden increase in the consumption of petrol in the country. PSO issued tender envisages 20,000 metric tons of supply this month, while the remaining 20,000 tons during July-August. Earlier current year in the month of February, about 10,000 metric tons of petrol was exported from Parco Refinery due to fall in petrol consumption.
