Action Committee for firing SNGPL MD

LAHORE - Sui Northern Gas Company Limited (SNGPL) Action Committee has demanded the Federal government to immediately fire SNGPL
Managing Director Rasheed Lone as he was not reinstating sacked SNGPL employees even after the clear instruction of President Asif Ali Zardari in
this regard.
Addressing a Press conference here on Friday, President Action Committee Basharat Khan further said MD Rasheed Lone is openly violating the clear
order of President Asif Ali Zardari to reinstate all employees sacked during 1993 to 1996. All such sacked employees SSGC, Social Welfare and IB had
been reinstated whereas SNGPL MD showing reluctancy to reinstate sacked employees.
He further blamed that present MD Rasheed Lone had been retired in 2003 but get extension of his service every year by hook or crook and enjoying
company's perks and other benefits.
He threatened that if their demands were not materialise within few days, they would observe sit-in strike everyday before main office until the
acceptance of their demands.
