NBP reports highest Rs18b after tax profit

KARACHI - National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) has once again attained the top position in the financial sector with highest after tax profit of over Rs 18 billion. The Management in appreciation of this performance has announced an additional profit bonus to all its employees consisting of two basic salaries with a minimum of Rs 21,5OO.
Further the Management has decided to recognise and motivates the 10pc of its total work force who are the top performers by paying them a handsome performance award besides the above.
In last ten years the Bank management has taken of HR initiatives to create a satisfied and motivated workforce for higher customer satisfaction such as; unprecedented promotions, substantial pay increases, female empowerment programme, employee communication, tremendous boost to sports and cultural activities unseen in the banking industry in Pakistan and a host of other welfare measures.
Syed Ali Raza, President NBP in his message to the employees has emphasised for continued efforts to make NBP more stronger for customer satisfaction and continue to play its role to strengthen the national economy.
