All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (APTMA) has called off their countrywide strike call on the governments assurance of meeting their demands, report said on Thursday. The APTMA had announced the indefinite strike from today against governments move to slash their export quota to 35 million kgs of yarn a month from 50 million kg. However, the strike was called off following the guarantees by the government that it will pay due heed to the associations demands, chairman APTMA Punjab chapter Gauhar Aijaz announced here Thursday after meeting with Governor Punjab Salman Taseer.
