Hafeez Sheikh made new finance adviser

A notification has been issued regarding the appointment of former finance minister Abdul Hafeez Sheikh as finance adviser to the Prime Minister here today. Dr Hafeez, a PhD in Economics, was Privatization minister in Musharrafs regime, and also served in the World Bank. Hafeez has got a 25-year experience of policy-making. It merits to mention that Hafeez would be the second most learned person regarding his field after Dr Mehboobul Haq.
