SBP issues over Rs 23 b Treasury Bills

The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) Friday mopped up Rs 23.70 billion at 6.4 per cent interest for one day by issuing treasury bills. The SBP performed the open market operation to absorb excess liquidity from the banking system.
