Motorola named sustainability leader
Source: OUR STAFF REPORTER September 25, 2008 LAHORE - The 2008-2009 Dow Jones Sustainability World and North American Indexes (DJSI) have ranked Motorola (NYSE: MOT) as a leader for its environmental, social and economic performance, the company announced Thursday.
Motorola received the highest score among communication technology companies in several categories, including codes of conduct and compliance, privacy protection, labour practices, talent attraction and retention, corporate citizenship and philanthropy, and supplier standards.
