Sindh raises wheat issue price to Rs750

KARACHI - The government of Sindh has set the issue price of wheat at Rs 750 per 40 kg for this season, it is learnt on Tuesday.

After consultation with the representatives of Flour Mills Association Sindh, Sardar Mir Nadir Magsi, the provincial minister for Food announced the new issue price for this season.  

The wheat quota would be released from September 1 to flour mills at issue price of Rs750 per 40 kg as pressure is mounting on provincial food departments to ensure smooth supply before the start of holy month of Ramazan.
