Baloch CNG body also supports strike call
QUETTA (APP) - President All Balochistan CNG Association Qiamuddin Agha has announced to join nationwide strike on 30th December in protest against hike in CNG pricesto be implemented from 1st January 2010.
Addressing a press conference at Quetta Press Club here on Saturday, he contended that in the country, about 2.4m vehicles were utilizing CNG and surge in CNG rates would affect common people badly. He noted that private sector had invested over Rs70b in CNG stations and related facilities and the industry would face a devastation if the government did not withdraw its decision to increase the products prices.
