Businessmen seek road map for economic turnaround

LAHORE - Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) has urged the government to immediately announce economic road map for economic turnaround.

President, LCCI Muhammad Ali Mian in a statement issued here on Wednesday said that the industry has no money even to pay the salaries to its workers and if the situation remains the same for sometime, even the harshest measures would not be enough to give the economy a kick-start. He said that the situation has reached the alarming stage but it seems that the present rulers have no time to look at this matter of prime importance and days are fast approaching when no industry would be able to remain operational.
