PM Gilani announces Rs 1b package for Karachi

Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani on Wednesday announced a relief package of Rs 1 billion for the affected people of Karachi tragedy. Sources said the MQM leaders thanked Prime Minister Gilani for the package. Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has also pledged support for the Karachi victims, Federal Minister for Ports and Shipping Babar Ghauri said.
