Pak plans sugar tender on Jan.1

Pakistan plans to issue a tender on Jan. 1 to import 150,000 tonnes of white crystal sugar, a top government official of the state-run Trading Corporation of Pakistan (TCP) said on Wednesday.
"Our first tender for sugar will ... appear in newspapers on Friday and it will be for 150,000 tonnes," TCP chairman Saeed Ahmed Khan told media.
