MICHAEL Jacksons sister La Toya Jackson has claimed the singer was murdered for his 1 billion fortune. The 53-year-old said that she thinks a conspiracy of people were behind her brothers death. She also claimed that 2 million was stolen from the singer before he died.
She accused the shadowy entourage of cutting Jackson off from his family and friends and forcing him, against his will, to sign up for 50 concerts at Londons O2 arena.
It comes after Los Angeles Police Chief William Bratton confirmed that investigators had not ruled out homicide, although the states autopsy results will not be known for two weeks.
I believe Michael was murdered, I felt that from the start. Not just one person was involved, rather it was a conspiracy of people. He was surrounded by a bad circle, she said.
Michael was a very meek, quiet, loving person. People took advantage of that. People fought to be close to him, people who werent always on his side. Less than a month ago, I said I thought Michael was going to die before the London shows because he was surrounded by people who didnt have his best interests at heart.
In an interview with the Mail on Sunday and News of the World newspapers she added that millions of dollars in cash and jewels disappeared from Jacksons house the day he died.
Michael always had cash in his homes, usually around $2m (1.2 million) which he used to pay out on things. People said he wasnt wealthy, but Michael always had money with him. When I went to the house later that day there was no cash or jewellery. Someone went in there and did a good job. It was very strange. - Daily Telegraph
