'Lakeview Terrace' earns top box-office take
September 23, 2008 LOS ANGELES (AFP) - Dark thriller “Lakeview Terrace,” starring Samuel L. Jackson as a cop who torments his neighbours, topped the North American box office over the weekend, final figures showed Monday.
The film, also starring Patrick Wilson and Kerry Washington as the inter-racial married couple terrorized by Jackson, took 15 million dollars in its opening weekend, industry tracker Exhibitor Relations said.
