5.2 magnitude Quake, aftershock strike southern Alaska

A moderate earthquake followed by an aftershock shook the Alaska Peninsula region. There are no immediate reports of any injuries or damage. The Alaska Earthquake Information Center says the 5.2 magnitude quake struck at 4:21 a.m. Saturday about 73 miles (117 kilometers) south of Cold Bay. The 4.2 magnitude aftershock struck at 4:45 a.m. in the same area.
