American tourist attacked and killed in Beijing
August 9, 2008 A Chinese man on Saturday attacked and killed an American tourist in central Beijing, one day after the Olympic Games opened in the Chinese capital, Xinhua news agency reported. The man attacked two Americans as well as their Chinese guide at the historic Drum Tower monument, a popular tourist site. One tourist was killed in the attack and the other two people were injured.
