Suicide attack kills two Afghan govt workers
October 10, 2008 A Taliban suicide bomber killed two government workers in southeastern Afghanistan Friday in an attack aimed at a district intelligence chief, the government and the militia said. "Two government officials were killed and two others and a civilian were injured," Khost province governor Arsla Jamal said. The blast was carried out by a Taliban suicide bomber and targeted the intelligence chief of Bak district on the border with Pakistan, said a spokesman for the militia, Zabihullah Mujahed.
