20 killed in spate of Iraq bomb attacks
October 12, 2008 BAGHDAD (AFP) - A spate of attacks in the Iraqi capital on Sunday killed at least 18 people and wounded 24 others, including women and children, security officials said.
In the attack at least nine people were killed and 13 wounded in a car bombing at a crowded market in Baghdad’s Bayaa district, a mainly Shia area in the southwest of the capital, police said.
