11 Kurd killed in Turk army operation
May 15, 2008 Atleast 11 Kurd rebels were killed and 20 others injured by Turkish army in an operation near Iraq border. According to Turkish state media, Kurd rebels attacked a police station in which 6 police personnel were killed after that Turkish army launched a major offensive against the rebels. The army in recent operation has killed nearly 30 Kurd rebels.
