SKorea to give $1.4m in quake aid to China
May 15, 2008
South Korea's SK Group said Thursday it would donate 1.4 million dollars for victims of the devastating earthquake in southwest China. The money will be sent to China's Red Cross through SK's subsidiary in the country, the business group said in a statement. The 7.9-magnitude earthquake hit Sichuan province on Monday, leaving tens of thousands of people dead, missing or trapped.
